Feel like drooling over some tucked bays?

At least one person shows some single-cam love...

Re: Feel like drooling over some tucked bays?

Those are some pristine engine set ups. I don't see any single cams though...

Picture 52 does indeed seem to be missing the almighty second cam.

Re: Feel like drooling over some tucked bays?

Whoops. I didn't scroll that far. Funny how the single cam has a BOV on the intake charge pipe yet looks like it has a header. LOL

Damn, I wish I could have any one of those rides.

Re: Feel like drooling over some tucked bays?

I have a fear of when i tear down through my engine bay when i swap in my b18c5, when i take everything off to paint it - i won't know where everything goes I envy all those perfect-looking shiny colour-rich engine bays

Re: Feel like drooling over some tucked bays?

Its real simple..Ive done it about 3 times now on my car and once in the junkyard...the loom is all sized so that things will pretty much lay into place.. just remember where key points were and the rest will all match up, most likely itll be kinked or crusted into the same shape that it wasin when you took it out..

Re: Feel like drooling over some tucked bays?

Take a lot of pics of everything; wiring, brake lines, vacume hoses, etc. And buy some good tape and label everything so it's much easier to connect. When I help my friend with swaps, we always label both sides of every connector so we know where it hooks in (some connectors just look too similar, at least on the 5th and 6th gens). And having an owners manual helps as well, so you can double check by looking at the color of each wire. It's certainly not something for a person that's new to cars, but after a while you'll have little problem figuring things out.

Also for anyone wanting more pics, there are quite a few threads over at honda-tech; even a few rough "how-tos".
