Recomendations on new shocks?
its that time, i have an 01 yukon, 4wd 5.3, its time for new shocks. i'd like something to give me the smoothest ride possible, i never go offroad or anything so i could care less about all that. any suggestions?

Re: Recomendations on new shocks?
I just put Monroe reflex's on my '93 and so far they have been really good on road. Handle well and are pretty damn smooth. And I got them for like $45 each at Kragen.

Re: Recomendations on new shocks?
I heard KYB are pretty good. Planning on putting KYB in my truck when needed.

Re: Recomendations on new shocks?
I have sold monroe, and kyb. I would not use anything else than kyb after seeing the quality difference.

I believe I'll try Bilsteins.

Re: Recomendations on new shocks?
oh yeah ill agree with you taht KYB and Bilstein are better but unless you want to pay at least $75 a piece on them I ont think youll notice much of a difference at all in performance or reliability especially if you dont plan on taking it off road at all. For just Normal everyday driving I dont think that the extra premium top-of-the-line shocks are necessary.
