3.1 hesitating and stalling when reving.
A little background quick. This is a FWD dirt car run in a Mod4/6 class at my local track. The engine has only had 1.6 ratio roller rockers and a fabricated dual exhaust.
I just got the engine buttoned back up after re adjusting the rocker arms. Fired it up, and let it warm up. It idled just fine reved just like normal, and I shut it off. Looked for leaks and such refired after about 5 mins, and it idled just fine, but when i hit the throttle it would stumble real bad and die. I am wondering if maybe the problem is the TPS or maybe the regulator. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. |

Get a fuel pressure gage on it and see what it is as it stumbles.

Re: 3.1 hesitating and stalling when reving.
Well I unhooked all my leads to the sensors and checked everything out, wires ect. nothing looked bad. replugged everything up and fired it up. (Took forever to start, but there was plenty of fuel coming from the return in the fuel cell. Fuel pupm has been replaced 2 weeks ago.) It started up and reved like normal, sounded fine, I will refire and let it warm up properly tomorrow and see what happens after that.
