93 tomcat petrol light???!!!

Hi all,

I have just got a really nice 1993 220 turbo here in New Zealand, and I am wondering if the car has a petrol light? Can anyone answer this and if yes where the hell is it on the dash? I have noticed in pictures other tomcats have a light in the middle of the rev counter and speedo, is that it? mine does not have this mystery light?

Rover 200's inc the coupe never had a light fitted, the tank goes on for a long way though. The light in the middle is the factory alarm/immobiliser.

Hi there thanks for the reply! What a shame. The gauge has gone about 2mm below the red line and still hasnt run out. Will have to fill it now i guess...

I am looking at getting the mgf dials put in to replace ugly honda ones.
Do all mgf dials fit or only specific models? If so which models could i rip out from?

Would really like to get parts from the UK sometime too, anyone out there know how I can get sent to NZ?

This car is so cool, they are very rare in NZ.

We have about 3 coupes in NZ on the owners club.

I'm not sure if MG dials fit. Aren't they electronic speedo cables? If any fit, I'd guess it'd have to be an early model.
