preparing for the future
So i will soon have my 95 GSX
(finally) and plan to upgrade into the future. however, i am wondering since i dont have the time, money, or convenience to do a full car build should i prepare for high horsepower now or do it in stages. For instance, should i go with the 3 inch turbo back exaust now in preparation of higher boost and horsepower, or just go with the 2in or 2 1/2in and buy the 3in when i upgrade the turbo etc. Should i spring for the large core intercooler now if i expect to need it in the future. One more, what is a safe boost level for the stock turbo and internals. I really want to learn more so any info would be great.

Re: preparing for the future
Upgrading in sequences is the best way to save yourself alot of hassle and wasted money. Stick with the stock exhaust until you need to upgrade, same with the IC.

Re: preparing for the future
Yeah, just follow the path. I tend to sway from it depending on what deals I can find. Definately dont waste your time on a 2.5" exhaust, go for 3" right away. I would just buy shit as you can and bolt it on as you can.

Re: preparing for the future
If you're logging, otherwise just keep it where it is until you get some upgraded parts.

Re: preparing for the future
As long as you arent knocking the stock head gasket, rods, and rings should be fine for as much as a lightly modded car can throw at it. It all depends on the turbo though. IIRC, that stock t25 should be running ~14psi already and running more is pointless, that turbo is just about maxed out. Follow the upgrade path.
