Angry '98 sc2 in bad shape

ok, at first my car was having trouble shifting (automatic) from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. It would jump and make a terrible noise. Now, it is still doing that but also i can't increase speed w/o my rpm's going over 3500 to 4000. If i keep the acceloration at 3000 or less then it just chugs, BAD! My SES light was blinking when it chugged. For a little while i couldn't get it to increase speed, the only way i could was to run my rpm's up. What is wrong with it???

Re: '98 sc2 in bad shape

being an auto, many things can be wrong. but about the chugging, you could simply have bad wires/plugs.

if its all with the trans, then its best to find a very competent trans tech to figure out whats wrong
