Re: Getting Skyline 2 Australia

When importing from Japan, it's best to pay a bit extra to have someone check out the car.

An alternative to Yahoo Japan is the auction houses. You get vehicle reports on the exterior and interior condition of the cars.

Better to pay someone a brokerage fee to source the car and deal with the paperwork required to bring the car over and getting it complied.

^^ agreed.

Brokerage firm saves a lot of hassles, if the car arrives in Australia and is not what you were expecting, you only lose your deposit. If it has rust, panel repairs or other mechanical problems that mean it would fail SEVS, then you get your money refunded in full.
