A/C fix it or not
Since im working on my engine and everything is stripped, i got access to a/c motor or whatever is called; its all covered in grease/old oil but i think i can all clean it off; how many of U are successfull with a/c fix ups? is it even worth fixing?, i got 90 with v6, thanks, N.S

If it doesn't work, then it is likely that you need freon. After your engine is running, see if adding freon helps get the A/C get running.

thanks Brian; i found some info A/C conversion hmm ... still dont know if should i bother, ill have to read up a little bit more about ac system, thanks again

Ah, the age old question, to fix, or not to fix. A/C work tends to be very expensive, but it depends on what needs to be serviced. It may be something simple like low or no freon (best case scenario) or a bad compressor. If you do decide to fix it, make sure you have the system tested for leaks so all the freon doesnt just leak right out. Here in Arizona I don't think I could handle not having a/c especially during summer, but I've always had a car with ac so im used to it.
