Another HP prediction for you guys.
I've been in the process of rebuilding my 71 SS for the last 3 years now and it's finally coming together. Here are the specs:
-4 bolt 350ci bored .030 over -Keith Black hypereutectic 10.0 CR pistions -Dart Iron Eagle 2.02/1.60 72cc heads -Edelbrock Proflow 3500 EFI system (1000 cfm) -Shneider Hydroller Cam --- Duration(244int/252exh @.050'') Lift(.560 int/.575 exh) Lobe Sep. (114) -Proform 1.5 ratio roller rockers This will go through a set of Stainless headers (not sure which brand yet, still price shopping) and a catless Magnaflow 2.5" headerback system. I'll be running a custom 2800-3000 stall converter in a TH400 tranny and in the back is a Custom Ford 9" with a 3.08 LSD. Assuming the EFI system has a good tune, do any of you have any educated guesses as to what it'll do on the dyno?

Re: Another HP prediction for you guys.
sounds like about 350 to 380 hp but it depends on how well the heads flow, what type of build you have on your trans and the gears that you have. If you want it to pull harder but still get some gas mileage put 373's in it. But have no dout you will be fast.

Mr. Pbody ran in through an engine dyno program he has on his shop's PC. He said it came out to over 450 hp, but 425 would be a little more like it. If I can pull around 450 bhp and close to that amount of torque I'll be more than happy.

Re: Another HP prediction for you guys.
I had to guess on the intake port cc's and compression ratio. Let me know your values if you want a more accurate simulation.

Re: Another HP prediction for you guys.
that's a well planned/done setup. i like it and it seems well thought out. i would say 450+hp is more than optimistic. i would expect you to hit near 380-415hp with that setup, at the engine.
you entered 200cc for the runners and most small block heads are 180 or less. if you do have 200cc heads then you might actually hit that 450+ but i would expect a stepper power curve: more sluggish performance down low, and ridiculous power on the top end.
