Exclamation running short on patience and money

i have an 88 cavalier, 2.2L, it runs awesome at start up, tons of power, great acceleration, then after it warms up, it wants to die, everytime you hit the gas it chokes, and if i hold the gas down long enough it will die, im so feed up with this car, it has a new tps, new coil packs, and i don't know what else to do. someone suggested the idle air control valve or something, and a local mechanic told me a way to test that, and it doesn't seam to be that either, any help would be GREATLY appreciated

Re: running short on patience and money

Although I am not yet overly familiar with this car and engine, I would be checking for fuel delivery problems. eg. blocked fuel filter(s), under performing fuel pump.
That's my worth. Hope it helps.

if you end up tossing it, can i have your doors? (if they're manual windows and locks and rust free and you have a coupe)

and your headlights... and steering column...
