paint problems

I have a bra for my car and I put it on every other week to prevent fading and other problems it can cause. I was washing my car Saturday and took it of. In the front passenger side of my hood the paint has bubble (a little bit smaller than a dime and cracked down the middle. What can I do to prevent it from chipping and spreading. Should I get clear coat and a Q-tip and just apply a little to the crack or what.

Thanks in advance.

Re: paint problems

i don't believe adding clear coat to the top of an issue is going to stop it.

go get it fixed no before it spreads. most likely what is happening is water is getting under it and causing it to buble..and i'm sure there's a little rust happening in there now.

get it fixed before it ends up like my firebird trunklid.
