When I was changing my plugs and wires awhile ago, I seemed to have knocked off my oil pressure sensor that plugs in right above my oil filter. I've plugged it back in but my oil pressure gauge doesn't read. In the slot where it goes, there is a little metal strip that I think slides into the sensor, but its sooooo small, its hard to line up right and get back in. Any advise? I don't like driving around without a gauge working. Its on a 94 Z28.

Re: Oil Pressure Sensor
werd, get a new sensor. That is the bottom part of the sensor. The black cap cover part of the sensor must have fallen off, which is very common.

Re: Oil Pressure Sensor
Get a new one.
I just replaced mine today (93 z28). Mine was broken in half though so oil was shooting out of it. Oil pressure switch- $24 autozone.
