Doing rear Brakes 2000 Impala
Hi all
Need some help. I am doing the rear disc brakes and cannot get the rotors off. Calipers came off easy enough as did the callipers but now I am stuck. The front was easy but the rear is a little different. there is something still connecting the rotors. Obviously have missed something and no doubt easy but don't want to damage anything. Trying to get this done today. Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance. H |

Re: Doing rear Brakes 2000 Impala
umm i did my 2003 brakes all the way around in the spring, my back brake rotors came off easily. The only thing there that might be holding them on is the parking brake. LOL do you have your parking brake on ?

Re: Doing rear Brakes 2000 Impala
Yep. That was it. (embarrased). I was going to check the e-brake but thought that couldn't be it. Yea right!!!! Simplest things can cause grief. Can't count the number of times I have done brakes but always the front.
Thanks for your help!!! (Yes, you can continue to chuckle) BTW, I belong to a sports car forum and get the same great help and odd chuckle there too! H |
