03 malibu brakes

My brake rotors have warped twice in 32000 miles. I emailed GM with the complaint that it appears they do not want to stand behind there product. I was told by dealer that rotors are only guaranteed for 12000 miles. This contrary to what is in owner's warranty book furnished by GM when car is purchased new. First the dealer said that I apparently drove the car too hard and used the brakes too hard. After emailing GM the dealer called and told me they were going to fix my brakes for me. Maybe there is hope for GM after all.

Same old line. I wonder why GM does that! Dealer said the same thing to me when my brakes failed after 15K miles.

Re: 03 malibu brakes

we had the same with ours , bought a set of BREMBO rotors and it seemed to fix it. do you have rotors all the way around ? if you have shoes in the back
when you do them, put the retracting spring in the leading shoe first or you will never get them back together.
