Welcome to AutoForums. I would call around and find a shop that can read ABS codes. This will lead you to what kind of trouble you're having. Regards Dan

Re: abs and trac light
Does the light come on as you are making a stop and then going again. If so check to see if the master cylinder is full to the top, the low level sensor is very sensitive and the sloshing from a quick stop and go will cause the ABS light to latch on till the next restart

Re: abs and trac light
i checked the master cylinder ,it's full. even if i'm not moving and it's parked and just running after about 15 min the abs and trac light comes on.

Re: abs and trac light
My 99 Windstar does the same thing. I've had it to the dealership twice for this and they can't find anything wrong. It kind of ticks me off that these sensors are in the vehicle for a reason, yet they seem to always give false alarms. My fear is that I will ignore a light on the dash because they always seem to come on in error and it might turn out to be something that is really wrong. GRRRRRRRRRR
