Dumb Basic Question

A friend and I are on break at work when we get on the subject of TA's while looking at an autotrader. He brought up some points and I thought he was wrong. So, I come to you guys for knowledge. (Concerning 98-02 model years)
First, are all TA's that come with Ram Air WS6's? I though you could get the ram air without being a WS6. (I know all WS6's have ram air.)
Second, Firebird Formulas didn't come with the Ram Air option, right? Only TA's? He says that you could get the formula with ram air and it would be the elusive Firehawk, but I thought it didn't.
Sorry for the noob questions, but I know a little more about camaros.

You can put a WS.6 hood on a Trans Am.
You can get a WS.6 Formula, although more rare than the T/A WS.6.

98+ if it is a WS.6 is has the hood.

Sorry, I meant the 98-02 years from the factory.

That info refers to 98-02.

You could get a WS.6 in both Formula and Trans Am trim. Also, you could get a Firehawk in either trim.
If it it a WS.6, it came stock with the ram air hood. There may be a couple floating around without the hood because the owner didn't like it or something.

But just because it came with ram air package doesn't automatically make it a WS6, right? It can have ram air without being a WS6 - from the factory...

If it has the ram air from the factory it is a WS.6.

its not really even the factory, right? its basically from SLP..

so factory->SLP->dealer?

ASC Global did the WS.6s. 98-02 anyways.

SLP did the LT1 Firehawks.
