Don't you know, it's 10 hp for every sticker, 50 hp extra for every additional inch of rear spoiler behond stock height.

What exactly is the problem? I'm guessing your probably having trouble with the solutions??? The Microset is not really that important and you can get perfectly good results without it. The Sol is the most important - i think this stuff has to be one of the best additions to modelers toolbox. The key to using this is; apply it, then LEAVE it!!! That means DONT touch it and let it dry for a couple of hours. The decal will wrinkle but this will flatten out and conform to the surface, apply more solution after the previous application has dried if its not laying down too well - sometimes it can take a few coats. Prick any air bubbles and add more solution too. If your doing something really tricky, like a wing mirror, leave plenty of over lap.

the Microset isnt worth using, i've never used it and my decals areall perfect. The microsol is used for complex surfaces like where there are alot of panel lines. best tool ive ever used.

damn. I think you guys are right. I guess i need to just let it sit for a while. I'm trying to put it on a hood so it's not too complicated. The thing is, after i apply the decal and put on the micro sol, there are wrinkles and stuff all over it. I try to brush them out, but i rip the decal. I'll use your guys' advice. Good thing i don't have to use the micro set anymore. It smells like shit.......

OK, bragging time. Guys, this modelling forum has been up for more than a year. during this time a lo of knowledge has been accumulated in threads. Some things we had to learn the hard way, some tips were given to us beforehand so we could learn either from others' mistakes or knowledge. One of the mods and starters of his section of AF, Jay (aka jay@AF) has spent a lot of time and effort collecting that information and compiling it into an easy to read thread. It's on top of the forum. It's called AF Car Modeling FAQ and even has * Look here first! * added after the name. Now there's a reason for that. The reason is that this litle thread is so useful that a new modeller will be extremele better off after reading it. It has answers to most of your questions and your problems, now the trick is to read it BEFORE you start having any problems.

Tenzoracerevovii, this is not a direct dig at you, but still do you think that the information abou using MicroSol is included in the FAQ?

Don't say thing like that...
Depends on the decal...and a try is always a good way before starting.
As an example : NEVER use MicroSol with TAMIYA PUG 206 WRC 99' only use MicroSet...

And remember that this is too different product :
As my friend zeljko write in RCMG :
- Micro Set is good for irregular surfaces
- Micro Sol soften decals very good so it fit all curves and such things perfectly.

But always try before apply...
