Need some inside informations

Hello guys/galls,

just discovered this forum and wanted to say hi to all of you and to ask few questions about bikes.

OK, here we go.

I am looking to buy me a bike. Something used, cheap, with or without some damages etc... what can I fix.

Started to research about some web sites that sell salvage bikes, like:
www.ridesafely.com web site.
But, don't know is that trustworthy web site and did you guys have any experience with this guys before??

If you didn't have any with this site, did you use somebody else??

How can I find informations how to find a bike that's for sale from insurance agency??
If you did something like that before guys do you mind sharing some informations with me??

I am living in Jamestown, NC and don't know much about this business with insurance agencys.
Have seen few bikes arround that people sells them, like flood damage and repairable salvage, etc... but no one will share any informations with me. No one will let me know where did they bought them from, etc...



So, I need your help.

Thanks in advance for any inside informations you guys could provide me.

Any info about this matter will be highly appreciated.

I like cycletrader.com or ebay.com but you should always, when using these web sites, to go check out the bike before you make any official decisions.

Also, it would be a very good idea to keep an eye on the classifides in the news paper.
