Which actutator controls left/right vents?
My 98 GTP is blowing hot air on the drivers side when the AC is on. The passenger blows cold. I DO NOT have the dual zone. I found three accutators in the dash. is there an accutator or door that controls what comes out of the left/right of the dash on a non-dualzone? If not then are there any other suggestions? I dont think my AC needs a recharge becauses its blowing ice cold on the passenger side. BTW my dash is all ripped apart.

Re: Which actutator controls left/right vents?
I read something that an outside air vent could be stuck open. Is there a seperate outside air vent for each side?

Re: Which actutator controls left/right vents?
Quote:
Although the passenger side is cool have you checked the low pressure charge just to be sure? A low refrigerant charge can cause the uneven cooling across the evaporator core and felt at the vents. If charge is OK, then you may have a vent channel problem in the lower part of the HVAC assembly which is allowing hot air from the heater core to mix with the cold air from the AC evaporator. The part that controls this is called a temperature actuator which will move depending in the temperature setting.
