coolant temp sensor
Can the temp sensor be bad i have a 91 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible my goes all the way in the red but i dont over heat When it get hot it is a little sporadic and when i pop the hood i would expect it to be super hot, but it not...
let me no thanks [email protected] ps i cant see or feel the sensor is it hard to put a new one on the top of the dash |

k....the coolant temp sensor for the computer should be on the upper front of the motor. The coolant temp sending unit for the guage on your dash is on the drivers side head. You might want to make sure that your fans are coming on to begin with. The fan switch is on the passenger side head. Could be bad...could be that the connector is loose. Mine was.
