i need more horse power C230

I just bought a 2002 c230 with 30,000 miles on it, its a 4 cylinder with a super charger, i wanna bump up the horse power, anyone have any suggestions on safe products and not to costly.

Also is there a way i can turn of the governor

Don't know about that car specifically, but with a supercharger, an easy way to get more hp is to swap the pulley to raise the boost. Just make sure you have any necessary supporting fuel mods so you don't run too lean. Hopefully somebody can chime in with more specific knowledge on this car, because I honestly don't know what pulleys are available or what fuel mods (if any) are necessary.

Also if you havn't done any intake or exhaust modifications, they are a good place to start, to let your engine breathe better.

i know that they make chip and pulley upgrades for the c32 that run about $3500 so i would imagine they make the some sort of thing for the C230. the one for the C32 is about 55hp

You can upgrade the ECU software. I just checked and for $640 Powerchip will upgrade your ECU and gain in your C230 about 19 hp. Check out details at http://www.powerchipgroup.com
