Cooling Fan Switch?

Does anyone know wher the cooling fan switch is on a Zetec engine? Engine is overheating at idle , but not if the A/C is on (fan works).

Re: Cooling Fan Switch?

Dude the same ish is happening to me! I get mad because whenver I drive with my windows down it starts to overheat and I got to turn on my ac till the light turns green because it would then cool down when I get it moving. I'm starting to think its the relay because if you look in the manual or in the power box thats in the engine compartment there is two relays one for ac on and one for ac off so I'm going to the junker this weekend to get the relay to see if thats the problem.
