The single cam that could
So my buddy and I just finished his car. 95 EX coupe with a Turbo'd D15B. We got 8.5:1 pistons and eagle rods and everything else is all stock. At 14 Psi we put down 278Hp and 232Tq to the wheels. It was NepTuned by Jason Herrera at autologic in Houston. We're taking to the track tonight and I'll post a vid of the dyno runs later. Enjoy.

Re: The single cam that could
Holy Phock man, that is pretty damn nice..theres is a huge difference between running 9psi and 14psi haha. Thats alot of power out of that little bugger. I really wann see some track times and if you can get video thatd be awesome, what was done to the engine? Couldnt be stock could it?

Re: The single cam that could
We're taking it to the track tonight so I'll have some slips to post. The head is COMPLETLY stock. The bottom end has cast Nippon 8.5:1's and eagle rods. Still has the 1.5L crank and still runs Vtec The kit is an XS power kit from EBay and so far its been great. The only issue is traction. We have some Falken Azenis for the strip tonight but its a relativly crappy track. We'll see.

That looks really sweet. I guess y'all decided to ditch the MSD stuff.

Re: The single cam that could
Actually the pics w/o the MSD are before it was running. When we put the rebuilt motor in, the coil in the dist. decided to crap out so we just went with an MSD. Works great. Thanks for the compliments on the engine bay, the wire tuck was my doing
Track time in 2 Hrs. Oh yea!

Re: The single cam that could
Well, best time we could get out was a 14.01@107. Yeah, traction issues like a bitch. It wont hook up till 3rd. The real fun came on the ride home when an 03/04 cobra decided to try its hand. Don't know how fast we went cause the speedo was buried but there were some cobra headlights way back in the rearview. If anyone knows what a cobra speed goveror is, it was faster than that cause I saw his lights bouncing from the govenor and we had just gotten into 5th when we let off. Basically it's a highway monster.
Fun.
