Power Locks Trouble

Back door power locks have stopped locking/unlocking and make a grinding, drill-like sound when I hit the switch. There is obviously something going on in there, the motors don't seem tobe dead, else where does the drill sound come from. Also, I can still lock and unlock the doors manually. Can they be stuck or something caught up in them???

Any thoughts???....I really don't want to replace them.

Re: Power Locks Trouble

Did you do anything with it at all? Maybe pull the door panel and check it out?

Re: Power Locks Trouble

The rivets that hold the actuators to the door in these car are know to break.
