v6 vs. v8
i was out cruzing around late the other night and im just crusing round 60 to 70 and i see a black 05 model mustang come up beside me and i believe it was not stock but it may have been but he had dark ass windows and it was loud.....did not look stock to me..........so i rev it up and than dropped it into 3rd and we took off.... 3rd gear hitting 80 is my powerband and i really start to get on it by then but he keep right up with me i shifted a little bit after 6k rpm into 4th and he started to pass me and we were doing about 120 and he had manage to gain somewhere from a car to a car and a half on me but could not gain no more.......we slowed back down at about 130 as for there where turns and cars up ahead.......im not too please i got beat but i kinda figured i would..... but it was a fun race......

Must have been a V6, a GT would have handed you your ass on a silver platter.

nice death, but you have a VQ30DE max. with those mods its expected for you to lose to a 05 stang esp if its not stock. you should be proud that you kept up that well. those cars are high-mid 13 second cars stock with decent top end ( 103 ish mph trap ) with the mods that you listed i'm guessing you gained around 30whp +/- 5 whp that still wouldn't be enough to beat one.

a stock 05 gt will pull on you more than that....and if it was modded your very lucky you even kept up so well or he sucked as a driver or he wasnt modded...
