Question for anyone who's ever owned a DynoMax kit.

I just got done installing DynoMax's Super Turbo kit on my 92 Civic hatch, and right after I finished I noticed I had a left over part. It looks like a gasket or flange of sometime, and it's listed as a gasket on the box contents list. There weren't any instructions with the kit so I'm not sure where it was supposed to go. I rechecked all my connections and everything seems to fit okay. The only place I can imagine it goes is inbetween the b pipe and the muffler. It seems to be a tight connection without it though, is there any reason I need it there. If anyone out there has had a similiar kit and knows where it goes, please let me know. Thanks...
