Smile spider info

May only pertain to California you will need to check Was having rough idle and accelleration. 1998
took it to the shop and found out that the spiders in the V6 are
under warranty for 10 Years or 100,000 miles. Some special program
that the state, brought up? All parts and labor covered.
I here that GM does't want you know about this. Because no recalls.

hopes this helps anyone with this problem George

Re: spider info

probably covered because of the California emission laws that require all emission related parts and problems to be covered for 100k. my brother inlaw down there got a whole new engine in his toyota truck when the cylinder walls wore out too fast and allowed to much blow by. it was a factory defect that toyota didn't tell about and is only covered in California. if you ask the right questions.

if you think about it, that law covers about 75% of the engine and the entire exhaust system including cats. you can even get your themostat fixed under the warranty since the sooner an engine warms up the less it pollutes. just ask the dealer's service writer "is it emissions related" and watch their faces drop.
