ECM Help
Hi, I am new to this forum and already need help. I recently purchased a 1989 Metro LSI with 165k and I want to run a diagnostic. When I follow the dirctions in the Haynes manual and put a fuse into the diagonsis terminal and turn the key nothing happens, no engine check light or message. I am getting about 35mpg on a five speed so I am thinking that something probably needs adusting or repair. Put in new plugs, but nothing else. I would appreciate so helpful comments. Thank you.

Re: ECM Help
Does the CEL ever come on?
If not, I would suspect the light bulb in the instrument cluster is burned out. If it does come on at some time during driving, then I haven't a clue. DoctorBill
