bucking then dies
Hi all
I have a 93 Buick Century. I justt had the gas tank and swaybar replaced.. Well when i got the car back from the shop it ran good for a few hours..And then I started noticing that it would start bucking on take off if i gave it to much gas... So a few days after noticing this I was pulling into a gas station and it started to die so rather than get gas I turned around and tried to make it home. I made it to the exit and pulled out a little and it died..Now the battery that was in it somehow shorted and wont hold a charge any more.. And im in the proccess of chargeing a old batt to see if it will run again.. What could be the problem?? Could it be the coils? Ive had simillar symtoms on a diff car and it was coils.. And if its not the coils what could it be? Im trying to figure it out on my own cause i just blew a months worth of pay getting it Inspectable...And cant afford the mechanic again...Unless its 100% needed.. EDIT: Ok just got it running and drove it around it still lacks power and tries to stall.. Also which scanner would i need for this car OBD1 or OBD2 ??
