Re: Floor shift automatic
I have a TCI floor shift in my 89 and I hate it..I would recommend you hit the wrecking yard and get a console from a blazer or jimmy, and of course the shifter..They have like a ten foot long cable that actually goes through a removeable cover in the floor under the drivers legs..so you won't have to drill a hole for the cable and they shift smoothly...

Re: Floor shift automatic
i have a 93 that i did that to. found a floor shifter and console out of a wrecked 97 blazer on ebay. got it for about $180. went to chevy and got the cable for it, took out my linkage and got it hooked up. works fine, and looks stock.
