Bed Springs sound

I have a 95 s-10 blazer 4x4 and it has recently developed a squeeking sound in the front end, kinda sounds like bed springs. Only really makes the noise while driving but when i try to pinpoint the sound it is only present when i move the body in an oval motion. I have recently replaced the sway bar linkage after i was told that may be the issue but did not solve it.

Re: Bed Springs sound

What worked for me was either spraying everyhting with PB Blaster or White Lithium Grease. The Lithium Grease workes well on any moving parts underneath or where there is metal to metal contact. I would spray in between on the leafs, where the shocks are bolted down and everywhere you can. Please take care not to get any over spray of any lubricant on your breaks please. Good luck let us know what works.

Re: Bed Springs sound

Well, i took the blazer into the shop today, Lower balls were definatly in need of replacement but it did not solve the squeeking problem. I would have done the lowers myself but im not 100% confident on doing them. They replaced the ones that were on there with Moog brand which according to them they are the best you can buy. We shall see i guess, i am going to start lubing them more frequently though thats for sure. Ill let ya know what is found out about the squeek though. Thanks everyone.

Re: Bed Springs sound

Grease the 10-11 grease fitting on your front end.

Yea that I agree with too, I would just assume someone woud do that first and would ask the question after that didn't work. We all know what happens when people assume.
