95 gsr, v-tec not working intermittent???

I just bought a 95 gsr about 2 months ago. intermittently it seems like the vtec is not working.sometimes it pulls extremely hard and other times it just does not seem to wind up quick. any input??

if vtec does not work, then, you will throw a cel. if you have no cels, then, vtec is working just fine.

check to see if the CEL is working properly, put the key in the II position and see if it comes on for a few seconds then goes off

also, check your oil level, even the slightest bit under can cause a drop in oil press. and vtec will not engage
