98 Fx, looking to t/c. mods i can do now that will still be good after turboing it?
hey i have a 1998 tiburon fx 4cyl 2.0 and looking to get some more ponies outta it. i plan on turbo charging it later on this summer but woundering what i can do now that will still be good after its turbo'd. ive gotten some different suggestions but just wanted some other opinions also.

Everything and anything can be modified. Just depends on the reason your doing it, and how you justify spending your $$$. I strogly recomend picking up a couple 4cyl EFI tunning books & forcerced induction books

no point in spending any money on any other mods if you get a turbo kit, it should come with everything for you, and then jus get electronics

alright thanx, i been talking to some people and they said i could shave the heads and mill the throttle body for some extra horse so might do that.

match the throtle body size with the diameter of the piping for your intake... (ie turbo piping)

Seriously, those people have no idea what they're talking about.
Unless you throw a turbo on the 4cyl, you won't get much power out of it. The 2.0 head is very restrictive and has a tight radius port. It doesn't flow air very well, so no matter what mods you throw on it, it won't do much to help this. However, a turbo, cramming air down it's throat, works wonders. sounds good anyone know of a good trubo system that would give me the most power for my money. ive found one complete kit from alpine turbos and they charge around 3500 for the complete kit with intercooler want to know if some one knows of anything better. thanx

That is the only kit available. However, you can put together a far nicer kit yourself, for less. Check out the site I told you about and those people will tell you what you need, and you'll find the info already there.
