Rough start..... but great once it starts

I have a 92 S 2.2, and I am having trouble starting it especially if it sits for a few days. I have sometimes drained my battery trying to start..... whats going on.....please help

Does it happen also when the outsite temperature is too high? or when the car has been exposed to the sun for a while? or just when it sits for a few days? Maybe your problem is the Main relay under the dash (driver side). Or maybe u might need a good tuned up.

Its mainly when I start it up first thing, but it also happens when start it up after work. I have replaced the sparkplugs, cap and rotor, fuel filter, air filter looks good. I also think my temperature sensor is not working properly cause today 3 mins after I started up the temp showed that is was warm, and also after a drive the radiator fan does not come on like it used to after i shut it off but they do come on when the car is on...... any thoughts.

First at all do you heard a click under the dash when u turn on the car?..(no when the engine is on, just the lights on the dash)..cause the main relay is the one in charged on sending the electrical signal to the fuel pump.

I have the same engine, and let me tell u, if u have any problem just let me know...and i can help u out. jejej I have had all kind of problems with mine...but thanks god I have fixed it all. u know after 204.000 miles running anything can happen jejej..

About the temperature sensor, I guess maybe it's normal to get warm up after 3 mins. Where are u located? cause here in florida..in 2 or 3 mins jeje is ready to go ejej...during the spring season..it takes a little more..maybe 5 to 6 mins.
