i had 1 once...

I borrowed one for a short time, but I decided not to buy it from the dealer and returned it.
It was quite nice at the time, but I couldn'y have really afforded it as well as the house. Oh well.

I can only imagine what this one is worth... (I work at Vampire Performance, which is where the interior is being done [we are branched off of The Guild] and let me tell you, it is one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen.

Re: How much for a DB5 ???

Not sure about an exact price but it would generally be around $170,000 USD.

Just checked Classic Cars... Prices between $63,000 and $358,000.

Huh? What are you talking about?

On that note however, I know the guy who owns David Brown's DB5. It is currently undergoing restoration.

^^^ I thought you were responding to my original post about working at the shop restoring DB's car... unless you know of another one?

On that note, it has been pointed out to me that this DB5 at my shop, actually belonged to David Brown's wife. The purple exterior is, in fact, DB's favorite colour.

Oh ya, it is in only for paint and interior work. Not a full restoration.

LOL... sorry I didn't go to the link that was in your post. Yes, that's the car. And yes, it was David Browns wife's car, and the purple (or aubergine, I think its called) was only ever used on his cars. It's a nice colour actually.
