Please help
I have a 92 prelude si 186.000 miles. Here is my problem. After drving my car for a while the car would just shut off. The rpms would drop to 0. I was not driving hard on it. I figure its the Coil getting too hot and not wanting to work. Because when i try and start the car right after it truned off on me, it won't. It would crank but would not fire up. But the werid thing is that i will go back to it after a day or the next morning it would fire up like nothing happened.????
What he heck its going on? I did change the battery on it because my old one wouldn't hold a charge. The new one is the same as the old one nothing changed there just newer.

Re: Please help
I would look into your distributor, ext. coil, spark plugs, and wires first. If that doesnt fix it, try fuel pump, regulator and injectors. One of these is most likely the link to your problem, but sounds more like a firing component problem to me. If all else fails check map sensor. Good luck
