Jaguar XKSS

Revell Jaguar XKSS

I bought and made this kit ages ago so no buildup (as soon as i buy another kit then i will post a buildup, so for now just posting a few of my older projects (most long since finished). I painted this kit in british racing green (what else). It like all of my other finished projects was built entirly box stock. but with my new projects (when i buy them) I will be adding extras such as bodykits, flocking, spoilers, different rims and P.E parts.

ENJOY

An engine shot (the biggest fault to my mind is a terribly poor fit on the windsreen) My freind who's been modeling a hell of a lot longer than me tried to fit the windsreen and failed.

Interior

Interior (again)

Front

Comment and critisism welcome (but not about the windscreen or "windsheild")

Re: Jaguar XKSS

This was my first or second kit (about 1 and a half years old) (not my age but the age of the kit, for all you smartarses out there.) and i can't be bothered to do anything about it also i'd never match the paint (custom colour)

Re: Jaguar XKSS

You're dead right about the screen - I have two of these kits (one to convert to a D-type) and they are both the same. When I did the XKSS I seem to remember cutting the top rail of the screen and reshaping to fit the glass - the sidescreens also are out of scale and needed remaking.

Good luck with your next model.
