T56 Question
I am perusing the T56 listiongs on Ebay and found several for the 500-750 range. They are all listing what year vehicle they came out of, question is, is there a difference?
I noticed one of the stickers on the trans said DLF and one said DLK (I think). Is one weaker than the other, of is that just a identifier or something. If I can pick up a T56 for $500-$800 that's in decent shape, A new bellhousing, driveshaftand clutch wouldn't bring that up to much more than $1500 if it even got that high. Whaddya think? T56 for $500-$800 off ebay... Worth doing or nightmare central? |

Re: T56 Question
just realized that you posted this question after I mentioned the t-56 in the other thread...ANYWAYS... you want a t-56 out of a ls1 camaro or 98-2002. They have the lower overdrive and are stronger than the ones that were on the lt1.
