Yes you have to use it. It wount hurt your performance since your N/A you wont see enough air flow for it to make any difference.

Re: 1g GS

A performance intake will do NOTHING to your car without alot of other upgrades first. Try starting with intake, header, and exhaust to free up restricted flow before you start adding more flow.

Re: 1g GS

you mean a hot air intake (in the engine bay)? lol or a "siphon" the intake that goes like 6 inches from the road/water and what ever the hell else it can suck up and destroy your engine. and yes you DO need the MAS. why dont you want it on there??? just curious??

Re: 1g GS

i was jsut wanting to know if i have to use it or not, cuz if i dont have to use it i was not going to i was just going to run a straight pipe off the intake manifold to a filter and i dont want to have all that extra plastic shit that goes into the fender n shit

Re: 1g GS

They don't just put shit in the engine bay for no reason you know, you need the mas, otherwise your car will not run.

Re: 1g GS

Well duh, I meant it won't run normally. Anyways GSEclipse, the CAI will be pointless on your car, I would just stick with the stock intake.
