Why, oh why... is this a personal problem?

Firstly I would like to say that I'm not trying to criticize any company, I'm just joking

At first, I purchased the transkit from Scale Production for the RGT Murcielago. Both pieces to add over the front wheels were for the left side.

Later I purchased a 1/12 bike rider from El Oso Kits. I got two left feet and no right foot.

I had purchased Speedline BMW M3 GTR. Some minutes ago I have realized that I have four wheel mounts but two of them are the same, so I'm missing the right front wheel mount.

In the first two examples I got fast answer from the companies and they solved the mistake fast as hell. I've sent an email to Speedline and I hope that there will be no problem.

But the main thing is... is this typical with this kind of resin kits and accesories? or I'm a jinx and that's all?

Regards

Well..sometimes resin companies make mistakes. That can be said for any type of product company. But in your case...I reckon you are just jinxed Hehe..Good luck with whatever else you buy someday.

Re: Why, oh why... is this a personal problem?

This is one of the things that really puts me of resin kits /transkits. They cost so much money, yet they are far from perfect. I’m of the mindset that the more you pay, the better the quality, but with Resin this simply isn’t true…

Never known a hobby like it… You pay for the privilege of getting a construction set of something you really want, and then if you miss out, you end up trawling ebay and paying twice.

Its little wonder folks have stashes of kits taking up their entire hobby rooms… Not trying to be Negative

Good luck getting it all sorted. I’ve looked over a S27 BAR, and a Red Five McLaren and now FW28 so many times…. I really want them, but each time I shy away from them. I'll buy a resin kit one day. The temptation will be too much...
