1996 transport problem codes
ok I made a post like 6 months ago my parents van went in for inspection and faild emmisions because of the o2 sensor not being ready and someone suggested getting the codes well I finaly bought a code reader and they are as follows P0303 P0135 Po441 P0135 and P0441 any ideas my friend said one of them means that a cilinder is misfiring

Hi Chris,
Here is what I got for those codes. P0303 - Misfire (on Cylinder 3 I believe) P0135 - Heated Oxygen Sensor Failure These are tested during start-up. There are 2 sensors : #1 is mounted before the catalytic converter (probably near the exhaust manifold), #2 is mounted after the catalytic converter. P0441 - P0440 through P0446 are for the Evaporative Emissions system (makes sure the fuel system doesn't leak fumes). This could be anything from a loose gas cap seal, to a relay in the system. I would clear the codes and see what comes back, but that's just me. Take Care,

dose anyone know or have an idea what one of those codes would keepit from passing nys emisions inspection and how to clear the codes
