Injector preference

Ok guys, I'm starting to gather info on prices and what vendors to get my turbo upgrade parts from. I've pretty much narrowed it down to turbochargers.com for their complete 2g solution package for the turbo/ported mani/install kit, and extremepsi.com for my fuel needs.

My question is, they have both FIC and Precision 550's for sale. The FIC are $60 more than the Precision ones. Does anyone have any preference on either injector? I already emailed extremepsi and they said that the FIC are more expensive because their spray pattern is better and the Precision spray pattern is like the stock injectors.

What do you guys have to say?

Re: Injector preference

Injectors are injectors, I'd get which ever ones are cheaper.

Re: Injector preference

I hear good things about rc injectors. I dont know what kindof numbers your lookin at and/or size turbo for that matter. But are 550's the size you wana go with? Like i said though I dont know what your looking for.

Re: Injector preference

I have had phenomenal luck with the FIC injectors. They always idle well, and always flow right on target. I've run just about every size up through 950s. The X80 injectors always end up flowing like X50 injectors, which makes me wonder WTF they are thinking when they rate them. Different pressure probably, which is pretty gay.

Re: Injector preference

for future searches, try to stay away from PTE injectors if possible. They have rather severe fitment issues, at least mine do.
