01' Tahoe Makes clicking noise when ....
Hi. I have a 01' Tahoe with 98000 miles. My car makes a distinct but hard to explain noise when pressure is applied to the accelerator.
Noise can best be described as one or a combination of any of these noises: 1. "soft" and or "whispy" rattling or clicking. 2. diesel engine or jalopy but lower in volume 3. Noise made by car when it is started after it has been sitting and driven before engine oil properly coats all moving parts. But noise in question is coming from different part of car. I notice noise occurs when: 1. Pressure to accelerator whether car is moving or stopped 2. Noise occurs during first couple of seconds after applying pressure 3. When engine os properly warmed up 4. On warm or hot days. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions. This noise is annoying and makes my car sound like it is overheating. |
