was at the auto parts store this weekend and was chatting with a few guys and it came up that there is about to be a recall on 94+ radiators.
As anyone heard anything about this? thanks jim

I can't see it being true.
If a 12 year old rad needs replacing it's lived a pretty long life already and should be replaced before it has an internal leak taking out the automatic transmission. You should read this thread started by BlazerLT http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=528539 |

Most of the time, recalls never happen on vehicles older than 7 years.
As a matter of fact, all the recalls I've had on my '97 in previous years had a 7yr/70,000 mile limit on them. (Tthe last recall/special notice was for the wiper pulse board that expired Feb. 2004 with the 70k mile limit)
