need to know about engine mounts
A co-worker of mine recently put and 99 Acura Integra DOHC engine in his 97 Civic. The engine/trans mount bracket on the rear of the engine by the fire wall wont bolt to the rubber mount (too long). Its the bracket that bolts to the trans right where the engine meets the trans facing the rear of the car. Where can we get a bracket that will fit? Someone told him that a bracket from an Acura might work. Can anyone please help with this problem?
