motor mounts

is the rear motor mount the same as the front?

I don't believe so, my son has replaced the front one three times.. not by trying either.., the last time he spun the tires on ice, when they hit a bare spot, there went the mount.. mounts are weak, engine is torquey.. I can't believe no one has improved the mounts, of course more $$$$ in sales,,

In a word...no!
The front and rear mounts are different as is the transmission mounts.
