I need a new headlight switch because the one i had broke. I dont know where to find one for cheap online besides ebay ( dont prefer it though ) could anyone please give me a site to find this part cheap.

I take is since you said you have the 3.4 that you have the base. so here is the part number that is for the base dimmer switch/headlight switch.

is that the swithc assembly ? Cus ever where that i have looked today it is more then $100 and that is nice if it actually is what u say it is.

yes that is the whole assembly, that is the only way how it is sold.

But that is me assumeing what your talking about....

that part number is for the "dimmer switch" which is the knob on the left side of the dash, that can be pulled out twice to control parking lights and headlights manually.

If you want to double check my findings, go onto naioa.com, and in the "parts list" section near the bottom, there is a sticky that reads "Helms parts list MUST DOWNLOAD". download that and save it, it's a large collection of parts and their numbers and prices, I refernced the part number I found on GMPD.com and it said like $71 but shipping pushed it up to $83.?? so that will be the cost plus shipping.

Ok thanks man, i went onto the NAIOA site and i coudln't find that section you were talking about with the list. But im going to take your word for it, i figured it should be what i want , cus my interior lights that glow my gagues at night dont go on and it was cus the switch blew on me from when i hooked my after market fog lights to it " BAD IDEA " so that entire switch is blown all it does is switch the headlights.

So hopfully this new switch will be what i need thanks man, and if you could give me the exact location of that parts list so i can further look through it for future reference..

they have great prices. I just bought an outside door latch, the dealer wanted $42, GM PARTS DIRECT $27
They even have your stock tire that came on your car. I still have the original set on my 2003. I have 70k, I still have fair tread. To get the same new tires from GM DIREST $68 ea tire. The tire dealer wanta $80.
