looks like we are 1 step closer to making the hornet a reality...
check out the news item from May 28 on http://www.dodge-hornet.com/.
Basicly in a nutshell it looks like dodge is going to use a VW jetta as a platform to build the hornet off of. I guess it comes out cheaper for dodge to use a vw instead of making a new car, but anyways, it looks like with an annoucement like this that the hornet is gonna be a reality. Good news for ppl like me that arent exactly happy with the caliber as a replacement..

that looks like a strange knockoff of a scion Xa. the fenders are ugly, and the hood scoop would look better centered, instead of offset. The offset design looks good on very few designs. if i got that car, i'd do hella fabricating to make it look good to my standards.

The Hornet would be a good addition to the Dodge line. Along with the Caliber, Dodge is coming out with some really good new options. It seems like they are ahead of some other companies when it comes to innovation.
