Hopefully Somone Can Help

OK GUYS HERES MY LITTLE STORY AFTER RECENTLY OWNING AN EAGLE TALON THAT I THOUGHT WAS A BLAST TO DRIVE AND VERY QUICK 11.70'S TO GIVE YOU A ROUGH ESTIMATE I THOUGHT ABOUT BUYING SOMTHING WITH A LITTLE MORE CLASS IN THE IMPORT WORLD THAT LED ME TO 2 CARS THAT I REALLY LIKE ONE BEING THE SUPRA THE OTHER THE ALMIGHTY SKYLINE AFTER LOOKING FOR A FEW IN THE US AND DECIDING THAT I DO NOT HAVE 40 K PLUS TO SPEND ON A CAR

I FOUND A GUY IN FLORIDA THAT HAS ACESS TO IMPORTING THEM HIS WEBSITE CAN BE FOUND HERE WWW.SKYLINE-IMPORTS.COM


NEEDLESS TO SAY HE SELLS THE KIT CARS AND CAN GET THEM REGISTERD FOR YOU AS WELL FOR ABOUT HALF THE PRICE OF WHAT ID PAY FOR ONE DONE HERE ALREADY BASICALLY WHAT I WANT TO KNOW IS HAS ANYONE GONE THROUGH A PROCESS LIKE THIS WITH SOMONE AND HOW DID IT GO AND SECOND SOMONE LET ME KNOW IF YOU THINK THIS GUY IS LEGIT I DO NOT WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF BUT FOR ME IF THIS GUY IS SQUARE I CAN DEFINATLY AFFORD TO GET ONE SOMONE GIVE ME SOME DIRECTION

Use search option as said before those cars aare not legal technically.....If you ask and search you shall receive..:-)

They Get Legal Here Somehow And I Know Motorex Is Supposedly The Only People That Can Get A Skyline Registerd To Drive Legally

What Im Asking Is What Is This Guy Possibly Doing To Make Them Legal As Well He Has Told Me That They Come Over As A Kit Car

Anyone Have Some Awnsers Ive Searced And Found That A Guy In Ohio Had Sucess Registering His Skyline Etc


Somone Point Me In The Right Direction Hopefully Not Another Newb And Somone With Some Info That Can Help I Know They Can Be Registerd In Certain States

Motorex was the ONLY legal solution to getting a Skyline. There are a couple of RI's that are working on legalizing the Skylines, but you should be wary on leaving any money until they have been approved.

There have been many arguments on the legality of kit cars. Registering the cars are not usually the problem, you may be able to drive it, but it may not be completely legal (no EPA and NHSTA paperwork). If the federal goverment decides to look into certain kit cars, you can be fined and they can confiscate the vehicle. Another item that was mentioned is if the car is involved in a claim, the insurance company may have the right not to make any payments.

These info was found from different boards. For the price of some of the kit cars, I've seen legalized R32's and R33's sell for a couple of thousand more.
