2005 PT convertible sirius ready?

Just bought a 2005 PT convertible Touring edition. Does anyone know if the stock radio/cd player is sirius ready like the dealer told me or was he just blowing smoke up my butt? If not, has anyone changed out their stock radio with another radio that is sirius ready? If so which one and how did it work?
I have had two other cars fitted at circuit city and they did a decent job.
Thanks

All the PT Cruiser editions are Sirius-ready. Usually they put the receiver in the rear cargo panel. My 2003 PT came with Sirius radio standard. It should be really simple for a stereo installer to set you up.

The factory head unit is actually not bad, and if you want to upgrade the sound, I'd go for speakers and an amp and leave the factory head unit as is, keep your system looking stock to deter thieves, but sound good for your enjoyment.
